And Now for Some Inconvenient Truth

PART I

EVOLVING IN A PLACE CALLED EDEN...

Who are you?

You read this as a living homo sapien animal clothed in manufactured fabrics, staring at a document delivered to you through an electronic communications system called the Internet.
The Internet began to touch large populations of animals for the first time approximately after 2000 revolutions of Earth about her Sun following the birth of a being named Jesus.

The Dichotomy of life itself

Day / Night

Cold / Hot

Floods / Drought

Surplus / Lack

Have / Have not

To Be / Not To Be

We live within and attempt to run this crazy system; sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing.

In the end, wee just seem to pick ourselves up, dust off and try it all again,

hoping beyond hope to just get a little more ahead while others just want to simply LIVE WITHOUT FEAR.

Osama Bin Ladin is dead.

I have every reason to believe this because I know and trust in the Special Forces men that made it happen.

Professional.

Sadly, most will never know the name of the soldier that ended a tyrant terrorists' bloody reign, no medal bestowed except in a private secret ceremony.

My personal inner self however is bound by that dichotomy I spoke of in the beginning:

Rejoicing with a feeling of justice, yet saddened as yet another human had to die by violent means.

You see, almost to a number, seers, sages, and religious persons of all kinds somewhere in their writing claim that killing another human is wrong and that we should allow God, the Universe and Everything be the judge and jury.

I follow these suggestion (poorly) as best as I am able, finding solutions instead of pointing fingers, working for the goal instead of becoming part of the problem, and trying to understand the mind and heart of my enemy.

Doesn't always work...

So here we have the death of a human who was responsible to the deaths of thousands and thousands of people, the great percentage of which were actually Muslim, and we're dancing in the streets.

Please understand, I am but human still, and found myself with my teeth clenched raising a  one-finger-salute 'goomba' style upon the news of his demise.

Then came the other side of the coin, my dilemma..

Killing never accomplishes anything, now does it?

Lastly,

I pray that this closes a certain book that has kept the world in fear for too long,

I pray for all our service men and woman that they be morally strong and return home safely, I pray for those strange voices of dissent that will do or say anything to be disruptive and keep the populace in fear.

I pray for the women in bad relationships, living in a nightmare.

I pray that bullies of all kinds - old, young, white, black, male or female will face what it is that they are actually afraid of or angry with in side themselves.

I pray that the world finds a sense of humor before December 24th 2012

I pray my daughter forgives me for not being there for her.

And lastly, I pray that if it is in the best interest of the Universe to do so, that DD or I "hit the big one" so that we ourselves may begin to spread messages like these without worry.

Something to think about...

For a variety of reasons I think that it's especially fitting this year- and on this day - that we not dwell on our historical moribund fascination with death, but consider the flowers around us and the story they tell.

They tell of new life with wondrous exuberant, boundless joy;

They tell us of renewal from within;

They tell us of hope transformed;

They tell us of the miracle of life itself.

Fear of death gives way to acceptance in truthful embrace. that it is the small price all living things must pay for admittance to the Greatest Show In the Universe called

EARTH.

Conveniently, we are made to forget that the very moments of mortality and resurrection are  one,

Embrace therefore not the This Day as an End, but for the promise it hearkens of a New Beginning!

(Sheesh!)

Let me put this in simple terms for some of you:

Don't focus on Pesach - 

the MIRACLE happened two days later!!!

(Duh.)

May the blessings of the Four Winds be upon you and your loved ones this day;

calling out my countenance upon all and with you: together we diminish the need of the many and share the abundance of this world with all, in true measure.

I say unto you: Forgive your enemy and those who have wronged you, let PAX HUMANIS reign!

Tired

I'm tired.

 Dirty Debbie is tired.

 We're both worn out and are waiting for movement and conclusion, but mostly we're tired of constantly looking over our shoulders. The paranoia is justified, of course.

It's not the fact that we know our email is read, our phone conversations recorded, or that every website we visit is tracked and cataloged mind you, it's the realization that it's not just happening to us but multitudes of people right here in America.

You personally may not be under indictment or have the Sword of Damocles hanging over your head as I (we) do, but ask yourselves this question:  

Have I done, seen or said anything that ANYONE could find the least bit morally or legally wrong?

A disturbing note of history finds that laws and moral behavior seems to change like the wind over time, and in the past many a person have found themselves imprisioned (or worse) only to have the deed which put them there sanctified in future years or generations. To wit, see any reference regarding the Crusaides, early scientific discoveries, or the Salem Witch Trial condemnations.

It is now quite acceptable to Catholics not to put persons to death simply because they chose to believe in something other that Jesu as their savior and Galileo Galilei's heresy finally exonerated.

Things change, the Wheel turns: this is the way of Heaven.

That which is wrong today, will be right tomorrow. Have patience.

One word of caution however - today, here in America, one of the most sacred and basic tenants of the Declaration of Independence have been subverted and twisted by dark, hidden powers.

I believe in the fundamental truth of the following statement:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

 My personal Wiccan belief would have added 'harming none' somewhere in there, but that's another rant.

Anyway, the subversion that these hidden powers twist comes in the next line:

"That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

Or in the case of those of whom I speak, public opinion steered by mass media espousing fear upon the public. Fear of everything. Pick one.. What's the "fear of the day" on Fox news?

Come on people, WAKE UP! In the 50's it was Joseph McCarthy and the Commie's. Today it's _(fill in the latest fear), or whatever the LOUDEST VOICES DECIDE IT WILL BE.

For me personally, I am drawn to the following items in the Declaration of Independence, where you may at will replace the words "He has" with "These hidden dark powers have" or simply, "THEY have":

He has endeavored to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands. (Just pass immigration reform already, will you??)

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices (PAC money), and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance. (IRS, ICE, DEA, DHS - pick one..)

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures. (Notice how we're never REALLY at "peace"?)

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power. (Who agreed that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and we just HAD to go get them?)

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world (Frankly, I love Cuban cigars)

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent (When was the last time YOU voted on a major tax increase?)

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury (Gitmo)

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences (CIA flights to '"hidden" prisons overseas) 

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us,(go ahead, call me paranoid - I know some hidden truths you may not about the media) and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages (Read "Terrorists" here instead of "Indian Savages") whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

So, these items and more are making us tired. C'est la Vie!
